Krewe Application

  Application Information:

 

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION 2011-12

 

  1. All members, returning and new, must submit a new, fully completed, membership application by July 1, 2011.
  2. The annual dues are $25 for single membership and $35 for couples, to be paid in full no later than June 30, 2011. Should payments be made in installments rather than full payment with application, the final payment deadline is June 30, 2011.
  3. THE ANNUAL DUES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
  4. Applications for membership will not be processed without receipt of the fully executed application. That is both the completed application and at least the minimum $10 first installment.
  5. All applicants must be 21 years of age. If you are under 21 years of age and over 18 years of age you must have a sponsor who is a member of Krewe de Kee-yaw. If you are under 16 years of age you must have a parent or guardian be a member of Krewe de Kee-yaw.
  6. Throws are not included in the annual dues.
  7. Should a member resign from Krewe de Kee-yaw any payments made prior to resignation are non-refundable. No exceptions.
  8. A service charge of $25.00 will be assessed on all NSF checks.
  9. Members agree to adhere to all rules and regulations as established by the Capitaine, co-Capitane, and Advisors regarding attendance and conduct for all parades and activities. These rules will be available to each member prior to membership. Should the City and/or Parish Government pass any ordinances pertinent to the parade, Krewe de Kee-yaw will enforce the ordinance, accordingly.
  10. Assessments will be made against members for failure to comply with Krewe de Kee-yaw rules. Should a member violate any of the rules and regulations, the board members reserves the right to terminate their membership. At such time of termination, the member will forfeit any monies.
  11. Should the Krewe be unable to parade because of bad weather, the city will not allow us a rain out date. Refunds of dues will not be issued.
  12. Should a member not be able to ride due to mechanical failure of a float, member hereby understands that there will be no refunds of dues issued.
  13. By submitting this executive Membership Application, member agrees that they are participating in all Krewe activities at their own risk and hereby further agree to hold harmless the Krewe for any injury, etc. that may occur in association with the Krewe de Kee-yaw’s `activities.
  14. The purpose of the Krewe is of social nature. All paid Krewe members are required to participate in at least one event per year to be considered active. The only exceptions are for medical or personal emergencies. Membership status for those cases will be determined by the Board Members on a case by case basis. 

 

 

Your membership in the Krewe entitles you to the following parades as chosen by Krewe:

Duck Festival, Rice Festival, Jennings Christmas, (3) Mardi Gras parades

Annual dues are singles $25 or $35 couples.  All Membership Balances must be paid in full by June 30, 2011. A late fee of $5.00 will apply to all members for unpaid balances after June 30, 2011. There will be a $10 per parade prepay charge to non-members wanting to ride in parades.

  

Membership Payment Schedule: $10 due with application, remaining balance must be paid in full by June 30, 2011.
