Krewe Mission Statement

Our mission is to create and maintain an active Mardi Gras Krewe organizaiton with individuals who embrace the true spirit of Mardi Gras and to have fun in a respectable manner. This Krewe organization consists of members of Cajuns and non-Cajuns who love to celebrate Mardi Gras in the traditional ways of their Cajun ancestors. 

Krewe Purpose

 The principle purpose for this Krewe is to provide its members a venue for participating in annual community Mardi Gras celebrations and other events that the Krewe may host.

 Krewe Membership Statement

Application for membership in this Krewe organization is by invitation only to all individuals who embrace the true spirit of Mardi Gras in a respectable manner, but shall not be restricted on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, handicap, marital status, sexual orientation or age (except that Krewe and voting members must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age). An application for membership will be submitted, reviewed and voted on by the Board Members.

Krewe Classes of Membership

Single- Single membership is accepted as a single person member. Minimum age requirement for Single membership is eighteen(18) with a sponsor who has a Krewe membership and twenty-one (21) without a sponsor. This membership cost $25 per year.

Married - Married membership is accepted as married couples or couple with significate other. Memberships will be limited to children and grandchildren aged seventeen (17) years and younger. Younger children may be restricted from certain events that may be adult in nature, i.e. cold rainy weather, late or earily hours, etc.

 Krewe Seeks New Members

This Krewe is seeking new members for upcoming Mardi Gras seasons. Membership in the Krewe is open to all persons of good charater who are at least 21 years of age. Under 21 years of age, you must have a Krewe member sponsor you. All membership dues are going to be waivered for the 2011 Mardi Gras season, during at which time we are recruiting new members. If you decide to become a member of the Krewe informaiton will be given to you. Further information is available at this time on this website.
